In the event of ischemic stroke, the blockage of a large cerebral artery must be treated as soon as possible in a specialized hospital. The researchers are developing an app that helps ambulance workers to recognize these patients early. Taking them directly to a specialized hospital saves time and increases the chances of recovery.
