[18F]F-FAPI PET/CT voor de identificatie van onbekende primaire tumoren

Project summary

Sometimes cancer comes to light by finding a metastasis, but fails to find the source. And therefore not able to quickly initiate targeted treatment. Patients with a ‘primary tumour unknown’ (PTO) therefore have a poor prognosis. The PI wants to detect the primary tumour using a radioactive tracer (tracer) and a PET scan. The aim is to provide patients with better treatment options this way.
