Changes in maternal stress, lifestyle, and work-related factors following COVID-19 lockdown and their associations with birth outcomes: the PREgnancy outcomes during a PAndemic REsponse (PREPARE) project
Project summary
Important reductions in preterm birth have unexpectedly been observed following COVID-19 lockdowns in the Netherlands and elsewhere. Lockdowns affected mental health, working conditions, and lifestyle of women who were pregnant at the time. We will quantify these effects and explore to what extent they contributed to changes and inequalities in preterm birth and other pregnancy outcomes.
