The COMPLETE Study

Project summary

Integral birth care is of great importance for the health of the child, both immediately after birth and for life. The Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate has determined that cooperation between the regional birth care and youth healthcare organizations must improve to achieve this integration.

The purpose of this study is to improve this collaboration. We do this by (1) identifying mechanisms, including promoting and hindered factors, that underlie this collaboration, (2) developing a strategy based on the identified mechanisms, and (3) determining whether or not pilot implementation of this strategy in two pilot regions to improve cooperation, health outcomes of mother and child and the experiences of clients.

Impact

We will also develop a proposal for a plan for national implementation. All stakeholders are involved in all phases of the project.
