Project summary

Globally, parasitic worm infections still affect the health and socio-economic status of over one billion people. Fortunately, these infections are now being targeted for to better understand and predict how mass drug administration can lead to elimination of parasitic worm infections. The researcher will develop new methods.

This modelling framework will mark a step-change in our understanding of helminth transmission and facilitate more accurate and realistic predictions of the most cost-effective interventions and diagnostic strategies for elimination of helminth infections in humans.
