Fluorescence-guided surgery in head and neck tumors

Project summary
In the upcoming years we will conduct research on a new, innovative combination of two optical techniques (fluorescence-guided surgery and Raman spectroscopy) that will enable us to better remove oral cavity tumors completely during surgery.
Impact
This method makes it possible to get a better view of tumors and remove tumors during the surgery.
