Identification of genes regulating mast cell activation in allergy and asthma

Project summary

Chemical factors released upon activation of tissue mast cells cause the signs and symptoms of allergies, asthma and anaphylaxis. In this project, the researchers will attempt to identify genes influencing human mast cell activation. This “first-of-its-kind” dataset will help in the development of innovative therapeutic interventions for mast cell-mediated diseases.
