Mapping the vascular system for new treatments for renal failure.
Project summary
Changes in renal vasculature and surrounding cells are the leading causes of chronic kidney disease. Using new genome technologies, researchers will unravel complex interactions and processes in this compartment to identify novel drug targets, with the ultimate goal of developing therapies for patients suffering from kidney disease.
