Virtual biopsy: paving the way towards reality

Project summary

Currently, the treatment of a brain tumour is determined by diagnosis based on tissue from the tumour, for which surgery is required: a surgical biopsy. In this project I will develop methods using artificial intelligence to make such a tissue diagnosis non-invasively with advanced MRI scanning: a virtual biopsy.
